Apple is setting up its biggest iPhone manufacturing unit in India! This unit, which will be built by one of Apple’s global suppliers, Pegatron Corporation, is going to be located near Hosur in Bengaluru, and it’s going to create around 60,000 jobs and that’s not all – Apple has also increased its use of indigenous components from India, like printed circuit boards, camera modules, chargers, batteries, and earphones. This is great news for the domestic manufacturing industry, and it’s creating even more indirect jobs.

For years, Reddit’s Data API served as a training ground for AI language models, collecting a trove of human-to-human conversations dating back 18 years. However, in an interview with The New York Times, Reddit founder Steve Huffman announced that they would be restricting access to this valuable resource. According to Huffman – “We don’t need to give all of that value to some of the largest companies in the world for free”. This decision puts an end to unlimited access by academics, researchers and companies looking to train AI models.
